UEFA Europa League Qualifying Round Preview 17 July 2014
It is the The third qualifying round draws for the 2014/15 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League Fifty-eight clubs will figure, 18 directly qualified and the 40 second qualifying round winners. These sides will be split into four groups of 12 teams/pairings and one group of ten teams/pairing. In each group, an equal number of teams/pairings will be seeded and unseeded, in accordance with the club rankings established at the start of the season. Ties will be played on 31 July and 7 August.
In the draws for both competitions, if a side in the second qualifying round has an individual coefficient which entitles them to be seeded in the third qualifying round, the winner of the second qualifying round tie featuring that club is automatically seeded for the third qualifying round draw. Teams from the same association may not be drawn against each other.According to the UEFA.com
