UEFA Champions League Qualifying Round Preview 22 July 2014
The draws for the third qualifying rounds of the 2014/15 UEFA Champions League and the third qualifying rounds second leg is on 22 July and 23rd July.
Miroslav Radovic's added-time goal for Legia Warszawa finally broke Saint Patrick's Athletic FC's resolve as the two sides played out a 1-1 draw.
The Serbian midfielder's 91st-minute goal cancelled out Christy Fagan's first-half strike for the Irish side. This still leaves plenty to be played for when the clubs meet in a week's time for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie.Legia started better and were stringing a few passes together before Buckley’s side came into it. Killian Brennan created some space and his cross into the box was met by Christy Fagan whose header towards Conan Byrne was gathered by Dusan Kuciak.
Celtic will face either St Patrick's Athletic or Legia Warsaw in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round if the cross the KR Reykjavik.
Celtic Park is being used for the Commonwealth Games but the Hoops will fancy progressing to the next stage in Edinburgh after dominating the first meeting.They will then face either Polish side Legia or Irish club St Pat's in the Third Qualifying Round.
